2.3.0 Segmenation fault on Raspberry Pi with OpenElec

Hi,

On my Raspberry Pi (model B), the version 2.3.0 of btsync cannot run, I have a "segmenation fault" message, even if I only want to show help message.

I run it with OpenElec distribution : http://openelec.tv/

I don't have this problem with previous versions.

you can try downloading another arm version: armhf

Also there is a deb-package for Raspberry Pi.

Thanks for the version, but I experience the same error.

Also, I cannot use the deb packages since the openelec distribution has no package manager.

spi, thank you for clarification. We'll try to reproduce it in our Lab and tell you if we find something unusual.

However newer 2.3.1 version is available. You can try it too.

@spi, we managed to reproduce this issue and currently investigating it.

Sync 2.3 is building with the new toolchain, it seems OpenELEC has some troubles with it. It is the official toolchain from Debian. On Raspbian, for example, Sync works well. We are going to contact OpenELEC's support.

Unfortunately, our investigation came to the fact that OpenELEC use its own build system and the toolchain. So, we are very sorry, but OpenELEC is unsupported since 2.3.

I'm seeing straight crashes on linux with the i386 build as well:

I forgot to thank you for the help and I understand the reasons for the end of support.

I moved to OSMC instead of OpenElec for various reasons and it works fine !
